Truecaller has announced that Rishit Jhunjhunwala will step into the role of CEO in January 2025, following the decision by co-founders Alan Mamedi and Nami Zarringhalam to transition into strategic advisory roles. With over 500 million active users globally, Truecaller has solidified its reputation for communication safety. Revenue streams from premium subscriptions, Truecaller for Business, and advertising continue to support the company’s growth trajectory. His experience in product leadership, coupled with a deep understanding of Truecaller’s market dynamics, makes him well-suited for the CEO position. Under Jhunjhunwala’s leadership, Truecaller aims to advance its global expansion strategy, prioritizing enhanced communication security and a refined user experience. His appointment underscores Truecaller’s commitment to continued innovation in the digital security space, with India remaining a focal point as he seeks to bring new solutions to the global market.
