NatWest Group has announced the appointment of Ruchika Panesar as the new Country Head of India. With over two decades of global experience in the fintech and payments sectors, Panesar brings a wealth of expertise in technology transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital customer experiences to her new role.
Before joining NatWest, Panesar served as Vice-President and Global Head of Enterprise Communications and Marketing Technology at American Express in New York. Her leadership in these areas was instrumental in driving innovation and improving customer engagement.
In her new position, Panesar will collaborate closely with senior leadership to lead strategic initiatives aimed at expanding NatWest’s operations and capabilities in India. Additionally, she will serve as the Chair of the India Management Committee, overseeing the bank’s efforts to enhance its presence in the region.
Panesar’s deep understanding of technology and her experience in building cutting-edge digital experiences will be critical to advancing NatWest Group’s strategic priorities in India, positioning the company for continued growth in the fast-evolving financial services landscape.
