Softdel has announced the appointment of Sachin Deshmukh as its new Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, marking a significant move in the company’s strategy to strengthen its global footprint. In his new role, Deshmukh is steering the company’s expansion into new markets, building sustainable business models, and deepening client relationships across diverse industries.
Deshmukh brings over two decades of leadership experience across key sectors such as BFSI, Media & Entertainment, Travel & Hospitality, Retail, and CPG. His strategic acumen and deep industry knowledge are expected to play a critical role in positioning Softdel as a competitive global technology player. Under his leadership, the company aims to accelerate its growth trajectory and enhance its technological capabilities.
Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Deshmukh also serves as a member of the nasscom Regional Council (2023–2025). His involvement in the Council reflects a broader commitment to shaping policy and fostering infrastructure and industry growth within India’s $245 billion IT sector.
Prior to joining Softdel, Deshmukh held the position of Vice President and Regional Head for the Asia-Pacific region at Cybage Software, where he successfully scaled operations and drove market growth across APAC. His career also includes a notable tenure at Zensar Technologies, where he managed strategic accounts in the UK and led presales for Europe, contributing to business development across multiple verticals.
Deshmukh began his professional journey with RPG Group Enterprises under the Group Management Resource (GMR) program and rose through various leadership roles at Zensar, both in India and overseas. His international exposure across regions including the US, UK, Europe, Singapore, ASEAN, Australia, and New Zealand has enabled him to build a strong global executive network and a deep understanding of diverse business environments.
With this leadership transition, Softdel is poised to scale new heights in global technology innovation, backed by Deshmukh’s vision and proven expertise in driving digital transformation across industries.
