
Mumbai, India — Kama Jewelry has appointed Sayaji Navadkar as its Chief Information Officer, strengthening its technology leadership as the jewellery manufacturer expands the use of digital platforms, enterprise systems, cybersecurity and data-driven capabilities across its operations.
In his new role, Navadkar will lead Kama Jewelry’s technology strategy across artificial intelligence-enabled applications, digital transformation, enterprise resource planning modernisation, cybersecurity, information security and IT infrastructure. He will also focus on strengthening technology governance and introducing digital capabilities to support the company’s manufacturing, supply-chain and business operations.
Navadkar brings more than 21 years of experience across IT strategy, enterprise applications, business intelligence, cybersecurity, infrastructure management, business continuity, disaster recovery and operational excellence. His appointment has also been acknowledged through his personal LinkedIn account, providing confirmation of the leadership move.
Before joining Kama Jewelry, Navadkar served as Head of Information Technology at Greenply | Samet. In that position, he led enterprise IT strategy, cybersecurity, infrastructure modernisation, vendor management, business continuity and technology-governance programmes. His responsibilities also included the implementation of the IFS enterprise resource planning platform to support integrated business operations.
Earlier, he spent nearly two decades with Spark Minda, where he served as Head – Corporate IT for the Electronics and Electrical Business, Tech Centre and SAP. During his tenure, he worked on SAP ERP deployments, enterprise application consolidation, business analytics and large-scale digital transformation programmes.
His experience at Spark Minda also covered Industry 4.0 projects, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service implementation and digital solutions developed using Microsoft Power Apps. These initiatives supported technology integration and process modernisation across manufacturing and corporate functions.
Navadkar began his professional career as a System Administrator at Sellcraft Global Solutions, where he developed experience in enterprise systems, technology operations, IT infrastructure and security. His career progression has since included leadership responsibilities across technology strategy, applications, infrastructure and governance.
At Kama Jewelry, his appointment comes as manufacturers increasingly integrate connected systems, analytics, automation and cybersecurity controls across production, inventory, sales and supply-chain operations. The company has not separately disclosed specific technology projects or investment plans connected with the appointment.
Kama Jewelry, founded in 1996, is a jewellery manufacturing and exporting company serving retailers and brands across domestic and international markets. The company operates four manufacturing facilities and produces natural and lab-grown diamond jewellery, gemstone jewellery, men’s jewellery, enamel products, laser-cut and 3D-printed designs, and platinum jewellery. It has distribution and business offices across India, Dubai and New York and reports a manufacturing capacity of approximately 50,000 pieces per month.
