Gurugram: E-commerce enablement platform Shiprocket is reportedly preparing to launch its initial public offering within the next one to two weeks, targeting a valuation of approximately ₹7,000 crore.
The proposed valuation represents a decline of around 30% from the nearly ₹10,000 crore valuation secured by Shiprocket during its previous private funding round. The company’s investors include Bertelsmann, Temasek, Eternal, Tribe Capital, Lightrock, MUFG Bank and Koch Group.
Before opening the public issue, Shiprocket is expected to file a revised prospectus incorporating its latest financial information. The final size and structure of the IPO have not yet been confirmed and may change before the launch.
Shiprocket had earlier submitted an updated draft red herring prospectus for an IPO of up to ₹2,342.3 crore. The proposed issue comprised a fresh sale of shares worth ₹1,100 crore and an offer for sale of approximately ₹1,242.3 crore by founders and existing shareholders. However, the company may reduce the overall issue size.
The selling shareholders identified in the earlier filing included co-founders Saahil Goel, Gautam Kapoor and Vishesh Khurana, along with investors such as Lightrock, Arvind Limited, Tribe Capital, March Capital and Bertelsmann.
Under the previously proposed structure, Shiprocket planned to invest ₹505 crore from the fresh proceeds in its core and emerging platforms. This included ₹294 crore for marketing initiatives and ₹211 crore for strengthening its technology infrastructure. Another ₹210 crore was proposed for debt repayment, while the remaining amount was intended for potential acquisitions and general corporate purposes.
Shiprocket had filed its preliminary IPO papers through the confidential route in May 2025 and received regulatory clearance in November 2025. It subsequently filed its updated draft prospectus in December.
Founded in 2017, Shiprocket operates an API-led technology platform that enables micro, small and medium enterprises, direct-to-consumer brands and large retailers to manage logistics, fulfilment, checkout, payments, marketing and cross-border trade. The company works with logistics partners to help online merchants ship products across India and international markets.
