Shubhangi Mehta Joins Cognizant as Senior Director and Global Head of Marketing – Healthcare Business

Cognizant has appointed Shubhangi Mehta as the Senior Director and Global Head of Marketing for its Healthcare Business, reinforcing its strategic focus on growth and innovation within one of its key industry verticals. With 17 years of extensive experience spanning SaaS, healthcare, FMCG, oil & gas, and more, Mehta brings a deep understanding of global marketing strategies and cross-industry dynamics to the role.

Prior to joining Cognizant, she served as Director of Marketing and Global Brand Head at HCLSoftware, where she led high-impact brand and marketing initiatives. She has also held leadership roles at Soroco, GoodWorker (Temasek), and Hill & Knowlton, gaining a reputation for driving integrated product campaigns, brand positioning, and demand generation across both B2B and B2C sectors.

Her impressive career portfolio includes tenures at NFX Digital, India Law Offices LLP, and Haymarket Media Group, where she steered digital transformation and content-led growth strategies. As the Founder of Digital Decaff, Mehta also led digital branding and creative initiatives for clients across diverse sectors, showcasing her entrepreneurial mindset and creative acumen.

Throughout her career, Shubhangi has contributed to the marketing success of global brands such as Thomson Reuters, WPP Group, PepsiCo, Moohlah Technologies, and ITC, delivering results through strategic storytelling and data-driven marketing. Her leadership has consistently focused on aligning brand strategy with business growth, using insights to drive meaningful engagement across global markets.

An alumna of NALSAR University of Law and London Business School, Mehta combines legal and business expertise with a strong foundation in communications and digital marketing. Her appointment underscores Cognizant’s commitment to strengthening its leadership in the healthcare domain, particularly as the industry undergoes digital and consumer-driven transformation globally.
