(TCPL) has announced the appointment of Sindhuu Govindarajan as Vice President – Marketing for its Foods division, marking a strategic addition to the company’s leadership team as it continues to strengthen its position in India’s dynamic FMCG landscape. Sindhuu’s appointment follows an impressive career at Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), where she served as Brand Director for Surf Excel, South Asia, and played a key role in shaping brand growth and marketing strategy for one of the region’s most prominent detergent brands.
With over a decade of experience in the FMCG industry, Sindhuu brings deep expertise in brand building, consumer engagement, and marketing innovation. Her appointment underscores TCPL’s commitment to accelerating growth across its foods and beverages portfolio—an area of increasing strategic focus for the company as it continues to expand beyond beverages into core food categories.
“At HUL, she served as Brand Director for Surf Excel, South Asia, where she led brand growth and marketing strategy for one of the region’s most iconic detergent brands,” the company said, recognizing her strong track record in driving purpose-led campaigns and consumer loyalty in competitive markets.
Before her tenure at HUL, Sindhuu held leadership roles at Procter & Gamble (P&G) and Reckitt, where she contributed to the development and execution of impactful marketing strategies across multiple global brands. As part of TCPL’s Foods division, Sindhuu will focus on strengthening the company’s brand portfolio, driving innovation, and enhancing consumer engagement across key product segments. Her experience in leading high-impact marketing initiatives and driving strategic growth will be instrumental in supporting TCPL’s mission to become a leader in India’s fast-growing packaged food ecosystem.
