Tata Digital Appoints Snigdha Singh as Chief Human Resources Officer

Tata Digital has appointed Snigdha Singh as Chief Human Resources Officer, strengthening its leadership team as the company scales its consumer-technology ecosystem and flagship super app, Tata Neu. In her new role, Singh will lead the company’s people strategy, organisational culture, leadership development, talent management, workforce planning and organisational effectiveness. She will work closely with Tata Digital’s business leadership to build capabilities supporting its operations across digital commerce, financial services, travel, healthcare and lifestyle services.

Singh joins Tata Digital from Tata Consumer Products, where she served as Vice President – Human Resources for Organisation Effectiveness, Culture and Corporate Social Responsibility. In that role, she led enterprise-wide programmes covering organisational design, cultural transformation, leadership capability and CSR. Her experience within another Tata Group company is expected to provide continuity as she takes responsibility for Tata Digital’s people agenda and supports the development of a workforce aligned with its technology and growth priorities.

Before joining Tata Consumer Products, Singh spent nearly five years at OYO, progressing through positions including Director, Assistant Vice President and Vice President – Human Resources. She led the company’s Global Rewards and Mobility Centre of Excellence across India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Latin America, Europe and Southeast Asia. She also supported OYO’s international operations and emerging business verticals, including Weddingz, workspaces, student housing, and luxury and upscale hotels.

Singh previously worked for more than five years at Cipla, where she advanced to Associate Director and led human resources for the pharmaceutical company’s respiratory business across several Indian markets. She also held an HR position at Procter & Gamble, supporting manufacturing operations. Her early professional experience included management-trainee assignments with organisations such as Tata Motors, Godrej Industries, ABN AMRO and Hindustan Petroleum. Across these positions, she developed expertise in strategic HR, talent management, total rewards, global mobility, performance management, employee experience and organisational change.

Established in 2019 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons, Tata Digital develops consumer-focused digital businesses and platforms. Its flagship platform, Tata Neu, brings together multiple Tata brands and services within a unified application, covering groceries, fashion, electronics, travel, hospitality, health and wellness, financial services and rewards. The company aims to combine the Tata Group’s consumer businesses with digital technology to deliver integrated and personalised customer experiences.
