The need for innovation has been around for some time now. However, the urgency of creating a culture of innovation is and will continue to increase exponentially. Over 75% of the respondents, of our study ‘Vision 2022: The Future of Next’ with 300+ CXOs, believe that innovation is more important now than ever before. The biggest contributor to this urgency has been the pandemic of 2020, facilitating greater need to digital transformation and innovation to avert any existential crisis. Majority of the respondents agree that building a culture of innovation will be the most promising step towards resilience and agility in the post-disruption phase. Despite varying degrees of urgency, all respondents agree that innovation comes with tremendous potential to create an impact, albeit at different levels with different indicators.
