Anish, who has played a pivotal role in upGrad’s growth journey, previously served as Associate Director – Offline Centers and Senior Program Manager in both the Founders Office and Core Operations. Over the years, he has driven several high-impact initiatives, including strategic planning, PnL management, and project execution, contributing significantly to the company’s operational efficiency and learner engagement.
In his new capacity, Anish will focus on scaling upGrad’s on-ground presence, aligning offline programs with its digital ecosystem, and enhancing accessibility to high-quality education across major cities. His leadership aims to create a seamless integration between physical and digital learning, enabling upGrad to reach a wider audience while maintaining academic excellence and personalized learner outcomes.
Before joining upGrad, Anish built a diverse portfolio of experience across education management and analytics. He held leadership roles at Lakshya Institute as Area Head, led business expansion for VISION IIT KOTA in Mumbai and Indore, and contributed to teaching and counseling at Allen Career Institute, Kota. His background also includes analytical expertise gained during his tenure at EXL Health, giving him a strong foundation in data-driven decision-making and operational insight.
With a proven track record in business strategy, team leadership, and project management, Anish’s appointment highlights upGrad’s mission to bridge the gap between online and offline learning models.
