A seasoned technology leader with over two decades of experience, Viral Davda brings a rare blend of strategic foresight, domain depth, and execution excellence. His expertise spans the entire exchange ecosystem—trading, clearing and settlement, surveillance, and risk management—making him a pivotal figure in shaping the technological backbone of India’s financial markets.
Before stepping into the CIO role, Davda spent over 16 years at NCDEX, where he spearheaded multiple technology transformations as Chief Technology Officer, driving modernization, digital innovation, and system resilience. His leadership at NCDEX was instrumental in enhancing market integrity, optimizing processes, and strengthening technology governance across mission-critical platforms.
Known for his business-oriented and results-driven approach, Davda has consistently championed the alignment of technology with enterprise goals to drive productivity and profitability. His professional strengths include digital roadmap planning, cost optimization, cybersecurity governance, vendor management, and regulatory engagement—all essential to maintaining BSE’s technological leadership in the capital markets ecosystem.
Throughout his career, he has also held key roles at Datamatics, Agilisys, and Aditya Birla Minacs, where he honed his skills in project management, business analysis, and enterprise technology consulting.
