Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has appointed Subhankar Sen as its new Director (Marketing). With close to four decades of experience at BPCL, Subhankar’s appointment underscores the company’s commitment to leveraging deep institutional expertise during a pivotal time of transformation in India’s energy sector.

Before stepping into his new role, Subhankar served as Executive Director (Marketing) and has held several other senior positions, including Executive Director & Business Head – Lubricants, Executive Director & Head – Retail West, and Chief General Manager – Retail Initiatives & Brand. Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly to sales growth, personnel management, brand building, and the expansion of retail operations.
An alumnus of the S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Subhankar is widely regarded as a forward-thinking leader with a strategic vision for India’s fast-evolving energy landscape. His leadership has consistently focused on balancing operational efficiency with innovation, ensuring BPCL remains competitive in both traditional fuel markets and emerging segments like EV infrastructure and green energy solutions.
