Adani Group has appointed Dr. Samir Mishra as the Chief People Officer – BESS, GH2 & Electrolyzer, entrusting him with the responsibility of driving HR strategy and spearheading people transformation across the group’s clean energy businesses. In this role, Dr. Mishra will play a key part in shaping the organization’s talent strategy and fostering a high-performance culture to support India’s transition to sustainable energy.
Prior to this appointment, Dr. Mishra served as Head HR at Adani Airport Holdings Ltd, where he managed human resources across airport operations in India. He also held the position of HR Business Partner at Mumbai International Airport Limited (CSMIA), where he focused on driving employee engagement and implementing strategic HR initiatives. During his tenure with Adani Airport Holdings Ltd, he contributed as Lead – C&B, Talent Management and Corporate HRBP, and earlier as Talent Acquisition Specialist at Adani Enterprises Limited, strengthening HR practices and talent pipelines across the Adani ecosystem.
Dr. Mishra’s professional journey extends beyond Adani Group. He served as Group Head BHR – Services Business at TATA Power, where he focused on aligning HR leadership with business objectives in the energy sector. His early industry exposure included an HR internship at United Breweries Ltd, followed by managerial experience as Marketing Manager at Global Franchisee Franchisor Pvt Ltd.
With over a decade of experience spanning diverse roles across Adani Group, Adani Airport Holdings, Mumbai International Airport, Adani Enterprises, TATA Power, United Breweries, and Global Franchisee Franchisor Pvt Ltd, Dr. Mishra has consistently contributed to organizational growth and people leadership in India’s energy, infrastructure, and services sectors.
