Cohere Health Launches Global Capability Centre in Hyderabad to Scale Clinically Trained AI

US-based startup Cohere Health, a leader in clinical intelligence solutions for health plans, has announced the launch of its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, India. The move marks a significant milestone in the company’s global expansion strategy and reinforces its commitment to scaling innovation, technological excellence, and its clinically trained AI platform.

As part of its long-term vision to build globally distributed teams, Cohere Health is developing the Hyderabad GCC into a centre of excellence focused on fostering innovation, collaboration, and deep clinical intelligence. India plays a cornerstone role in the company’s global operating model and supports its mission to ensure patients receive the right care as quickly and safely as possible.

“Our new Global Capability Center is a testament to Cohere Health’s belief in the power of clinical-led innovation and global collaboration,” said Siva Namasivayam, CEO & Co-Founder of Cohere Health. “We’re excited about bringing together the best of AI-powered clinical intelligence with the remarkable talent and passion India has to offer. As we scale globally, the GCC is instrumental in driving better decision-making and payer-provider interactions and ultimately improving patient care access and outcomes.”

Tapping into India’s deep talent ecosystem, the Hyderabad GCC will house expert AI and AI/ML engineering, analytics, payment integrity, and clinical operations teams. Working in close coordination with U.S.-based colleagues, the centre will enhance Cohere Health’s ability to scale its clinically trained AI solutions and deliver more connected, data-driven platforms that improve collaboration between payers and providers.

Himanshu Gandhi, Site General Manager for Cohere Health India, highlighted Hyderabad’s strategic advantage: “Hyderabad’s vibrant ecosystem of technological expertise and innovation makes it a natural home for the GCC. Our focus extends beyond operational excellence to building a culture that bridges clinical expertise with advanced AI and engineering, supporting responsible solutions at scale and strengthening our global mission.”

Looking ahead, Cohere Health plans to expand the Hyderabad GCC with strategic hiring across engineering, product, data science, compliance, payment integrity, and clinical operations. The expansion is aimed at meeting growing demand for clinically trained AI solutions that streamline complex healthcare processes, improve health outcomes, and enhance payer-provider collaboration across the healthcare continuum.

With this launch, Cohere Health strengthens its position as a global leader in enterprise clinical intelligence, leveraging India’s talent and innovation ecosystem to drive the next phase of healthcare transformation.
