Bhubneshwar Jha has been elevated to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Oxyzo Financial Services, taking on a broader leadership mandate after several years with the company. He has been associated with Oxyzo Group since 2019 and has played a key role in building and strengthening its finance function.
Jha brings more than 16 years of experience across finance, controllership and business operations. A Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), he has also completed the Chief Financial Officer Programme at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. His professional background spans financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, treasury, taxation, audit and mergers and acquisitions.
Before taking on the CFO role, Jha served as Finance Controller at Oxyzo Financial Services. Oxyzo’s annual report had identified him as the Finance Controller and noted that he headed the Finance and Accounts team for Oxyzo Group. The report also highlighted his experience in setting up finance sub-functions, strengthening controls, driving technology automation, overseeing audits and managing finance operations and commercial activities.
Jha joined Oxyzo in 2019 and has since been involved in developing and scaling the group’s finance capabilities. During his tenure, his responsibilities have included establishing key finance processes and sub-functions, strengthening internal controls and supporting automation across finance operations. He has also overseen regulatory, audit and finance-related activities.
His experience at Oxyzo has also included working within a regulated financial-services environment. Oxyzo operates as a non-banking financial company, making financial reporting, regulatory compliance, controls and risk management important parts of its finance function. In a recent Oxyzo leadership feature, Jha described finance as a strategic partner to the business, with strong compliance, accurate reporting, revenue protection and timely business insights among its key responsibilities.
Before joining Oxyzo, Jha worked with Signode India Limited and Deloitte. His experience across these organisations included financial reporting, FP&A, debt raising and treasury, corporate finance, audit, taxation and M&A. His career has therefore covered both core finance responsibilities and broader business operations.
Jha’s professional journey at Oxyzo has also coincided with the company’s expansion as a technology-focused financial services business serving the SME segment. Oxyzo reported total income of ₹1,211 crore and profit after tax of ₹339 crore for FY2025, while its total assets stood at ₹9,236 crore.
More recently, Oxyzo reported revenue of ₹1,494 crore and profit after tax of ₹375 crore for FY2026, according to figures shared by the company and reported by Entrackr. Jha also shared the company’s FY26 performance update on LinkedIn, congratulating the Oxyzo team on its performance.
In his new position as CFO, Jha will bring together his experience in finance leadership, controllership, business operations and regulated financial services. His previous involvement in building finance processes, strengthening controls and driving automation provides continuity as he takes responsibility for the company’s finance leadership.
The elevation marks a progression within Oxyzo for Jha, who has moved from Finance Controller to Chief Financial Officer after more than six years with the organisation. His familiarity with the company’s finance operations and its broader business environment adds to his mandate in the new role.
Jha’s appointment also comes after his recent completion of the Chief Financial Officer Programme at IIM Calcutta. In a LinkedIn post, he described the programme as a learning journey covering strategic finance, leadership, business decision-making and value creation, and said he was proud to become an IIM Calcutta alumnus.
With more than 16 years of experience and a career spanning Deloitte, Signode India and Oxyzo, Bhubneshwar Jha now takes on the CFO role at Oxyzo Financial Services. His elevation reflects his progression within the organisation and places him at the helm of its finance function after years of contributing to the development of its finance and accounting operations.
