TraqCheck Raises $8 Mn Series A to Scale AI-Driven Hiring Agents

TraqCheck, an AI-led enterprise startup focused on HR systems, has secured $8 million in a Series A funding round led by IvyCap Ventures, with participation from IIFL.

The capital will be directed toward expanding the company’s presence in Europe, strengthening its AI agent offerings, and accelerating go-to-market initiatives across enterprise customers.

Founded by Armaan Mehta and Jaibir Nihal Singh, the company is building AI agents designed to automate hiring workflows, including talent sourcing, screening, and background verification. Its product suite includes Trace, an automated background verification agent, and Nina, a real-time conversational sourcing agent that identifies and qualifies candidates.

Headquartered in London with an office in New Delhi, TraqCheck is positioning itself around what it describes as a Human Operating System — a DeepTech layer of specialised AI agents that collaborate in a manner similar to human teams. Instead of relying on recruiters to manage fragmented processes, these agents execute workflows end-to-end, covering sourcing, screening, and verification.

The company reports that nearly 300 enterprise customers across India and Europe are currently using its platform, including mid-market and large organizations leveraging Trace for automated background verification.

With Nina, TraqCheck is expanding further into talent acquisition. The agent enables real-time candidate sourcing, initiates outreach conversations, qualifies applicants, and connects vetted talent directly with hiring managers.

The funding will support deeper adoption across both SMB and enterprise segments, particularly for Trace, while also scaling go-to-market efforts for Nina.

“The shift from SaaS to AI-native systems is happening faster than most companies realise,” said co-founders Armaan Mehta and Jaibir Nihal Singh. “Software required humans to operate it. Agents execute autonomously. We are building systems that collaborate and make decisions, not just tools that display information.”

Commenting on the investment, Vikram Gupta, Founder and Managing Partner, IvyCap Ventures, said, “TraqCheck is building a compelling DeepTech AI-native platform that reimagines how hiring workflows are executed. The team has demonstrated strong product vision and execution in applying autonomous agents to solve real enterprise challenges in talent acquisition and verification. We are delighted to partner with the TraqCheck team as they scale globally and help shape the future of HR operations.”

The development comes at a time when the HR technology landscape is undergoing rapid transformation. While traditional applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools continue to dominate, a new wave of DeepTech startups is emerging, focused on automating white-collar workflows through large language models and autonomous AI agents.
