Flipkart has elevated Sharon Pais to head its fashion marketplace Myntra, marking a significant leadership transition within the group’s fashion vertical. The appointment is effective immediately, with Pais succeeding Nandita Sinha, who is stepping down after leading the platform since 2022.
Pais will report directly to Flipkart CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy, reflecting the strategic importance of Myntra within Flipkart’s broader e-commerce ecosystem. The move comes at a time when Flipkart is preparing for a potential IPO, making leadership stability and continuity critical for its high-growth business segments.
Sharon Pais brings extensive experience within the Flipkart Group, having previously served as Head of Flipkart Fashion and Chief Business Officer at Myntra. She has been associated with Flipkart since 2013 and has worked closely with both Myntra and Flipkart Fashion teams, giving her a deep understanding of the company’s fashion business and consumer ecosystem.
Her appointment signals continuity in strategy, with Myntra expected to further scale initiatives such as rapid commerce through “M-Now” and strengthen its position in India’s highly competitive online fashion market. The platform has been a key growth driver for Flipkart, especially in the apparel and lifestyle segments.
Overall, the leadership change highlights Flipkart’s focus on internal talent elevation and long-term strategic alignment as it strengthens its fashion business and prepares for the next phase of growth.
