Ashish Faujdar has taken on the role of Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Lupin Ltd, marking a strategic move as the company continues to strengthen its cybersecurity and data protection capabilities.
In this role, he will lead the organization’s global security strategy, focusing on aligning technology, data, and business objectives to support innovation-led growth. His mandate includes ensuring that cybersecurity frameworks enable trust, resilience, and regulatory compliance in a highly sensitive and evolving industry environment.

Prior to joining Lupin Ltd, he served as Group Head – Cyber Security | Data Protection at Mahindra Group from June 2024 to April 2026 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, where he led enterprise-wide cybersecurity and data protection initiatives.
Earlier, he held the role of Group Chief Information Security Officer & Data Protection Officer at Mahindra Finance from July 2023 to October 2024, focusing on strengthening security governance and compliance frameworks.
He also served as Global Head – Cyber Security | Risk | Compliance | Governance at Wipro from September 2021 to July 2023, where he led global cybersecurity and risk programs.
A significant part of his career was spent at Yes Bank, where he worked as Head – Cyber Security & Systems Risks from July 2011 to September 2021, building deep expertise in banking security and risk management.
With extensive experience across cybersecurity, risk, and governance, Ashish Faujdar brings a strong foundation to lead Lupin Ltd’s global security strategy in an environment where trust, compliance, and innovation intersect.
