Rajesh Kumar has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at Lentra, where he will lead the company into its next phase of growth, innovation, and technology-driven transformation. With over three decades of experience, he brings deep expertise across financial services, retail credit, risk management, and analytics-led digital ecosystems.
Prior to this, he served as Managing Director & CEO at TransUnion CIBIL Limited, where he played a key role in strengthening credit infrastructure and driving data-driven decision-making. He also spent several years at HDFC Bank as Group Head – Retail Credit & Risk, contributing significantly to large-scale credit strategies, robust risk frameworks, and sustained portfolio growth.
In addition to his executive leadership roles, he has been actively involved in advisory positions across leading organizations. His experience includes serving as Senior Advisor at Boston Consulting Group, Operating Advisor at Bessemer Venture Partners, Senior Advisor at Rezolv, and Strategic Advisor at Lentra, where he has contributed strategic insights across fintech, investments, and innovation.
Earlier in his career, he worked as a Risk Manager at Transamerica Apple Consumer Finance and began his professional journey at Lupin Pharmaceuticals, building a strong foundation that has shaped his distinguished leadership trajectory.
His appointment underscores the company’s focus on scaling its fintech capabilities, strengthening risk-led innovation, and accelerating digital transformation in a rapidly evolving financial ecosystem.
