Indian artificial intelligence startup Innefu Labs has secured $30 million in funding from Panthera Growth Partners, strengthening its position in the rapidly growing sovereign AI and national security technology sector.
Founded by Tarun Wig and Abhishek Sharma, the company develops indigenous AI platforms and multi-modal fusion systems that are deployed across defense, intelligence, law enforcement, revenue intelligence, and large enterprise environments. The startup focuses on building advanced technologies designed to support critical national security and operational requirements.
The funding round, completed through a combination of primary and secondary transactions from Panthera Growth Partners’ second fund, will help accelerate the company’s growth strategy and global expansion plans.
Innefu Labs intends to utilize the capital to strengthen its next phase of scaling while expanding its presence in international markets. The investment will also support the company’s long-term objective of preparing for an initial public offering (IPO).
A key focus of the funding will be advancing the company’s deep-tech research and development efforts, particularly in areas aligned with its AI-first and sovereign technology strategy. The company plans to further enhance its proprietary Agentic AI platform while expanding its capabilities in advanced artificial intelligence solutions tailored for specialized domains.
The investment will also support the establishment of a dedicated Physical AI and robotics division, reflecting the company’s ambitions to broaden its technological capabilities beyond software-driven AI applications.
Additionally, Innefu Labs plans to invest in the development of sovereign AI infrastructure designed to provide secure, domain-specific capabilities. These initiatives are expected to strengthen the company’s ability to deliver AI solutions that address critical security, intelligence, and enterprise requirements while maintaining a focus on indigenous technological innovation.
The funding comes at a time when demand for sovereign AI technologies is increasing globally, particularly across sectors involving national security, defense, and strategic intelligence operations. Organizations and governments are placing greater emphasis on secure AI systems developed within trusted ecosystems to reduce dependency on external technologies.
With the new capital infusion, Innefu Labs is positioned to accelerate innovation, expand internationally, strengthen its AI research capabilities, and advance the development of sovereign technologies for mission-critical applications.
