Gurugram : Hyperlocal commerce platform magicpin has expanded its artificial intelligence assistant, Vera, to six international markets as part of its overseas technology rollout.
The AI assistant is now available in the United States, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates. The company announced the international expansion on Thursday.
Vera provides restaurants and retailers with real-time information on order volumes to help them plan daily operations and respond to changes in customer demand. The platform currently supports businesses across more than 25 categories, including restaurants, retail, beauty, healthcare, grocery and education.
According to magicpin, Vera handled more than 82,000 AI-powered interactions during the trial phase of its international rollout. The interaction figure was provided by the company and has not been independently verified.
magicpin initially launched Vera in India in April 2026 as an AI-based assistant for small retailers and restaurants. The company had also committed $1 million towards developing its AI technology stack, with Vera serving as one of its principal components.
Commenting on the international expansion, magicpin cofounder and Chief Executive Officer Anshoo Sharma said the company intends to introduce Vera in additional markets while investing in multilingual capabilities, region-specific intelligence and AI-powered merchant workflows.
The company said the Middle East has emerged as one of the faster-growing international regions for the platform. However, magicpin did not disclose country-wise adoption numbers, revenue generated through Vera or the number of merchants currently using the service outside India.
magicpin has set a target of facilitating more than five lakh AI-powered interactions across international markets by the end of 2026. This remains a company target and should not be described as an achieved figure.
Founded in 2015, magicpin operates a local-commerce platform connecting consumers with restaurants and retailers. Its services include merchant discovery, rewards, food delivery and technology tools designed to support local businesses.
