Fixxly Raises $5.5 Million From Accel, Lightspeed India and Fireside Ventures

Bengaluru, Building-materials quick-commerce startup Fixxly has raised $5.5 million in funding from Accel, Lightspeed India and Fireside Ventures to develop its technology platform and launch operations across major Indian cities.

The Bengaluru-based company plans to use the capital to strengthen its technology infrastructure, recruit employees and expand its operational capabilities. Fixxly is scheduled to begin operations in Bengaluru in September 2026, followed by planned expansion into Hyderabad and Mumbai.

Founded in 2026 by Shezan Bhojani and Sachith Varma, Fixxly is developing a quick-commerce platform for the delivery of construction, renovation and interior materials. The company aims to simplify procurement for contractors, interior designers and construction professionals by providing faster access to frequently required supplies.

Bhojani previously co-founded home-interiors company DesignCafe, which was acquired by HomeLane in September 2024. Accel was also an early investor in DesignCafe. Varma brings experience from consumer internet and quick-commerce companies, including Zepto and Flipkart.

Fixxly is expected to use technology for inventory management, demand forecasting, order fulfilment and coordination between its supply network and customers. Its model applies quick-commerce infrastructure to the building-materials market, where procurement is traditionally fragmented across local dealers and distributors.

The construction-material delivery category has attracted increased investor attention as startups attempt to digitise procurement and reduce delays at residential construction and renovation sites. Unlike conventional quick commerce, however, the segment requires the handling of products that may differ significantly in size, weight and transportation requirements.

The completed $5.5 million round follows earlier reports that Fixxly was in discussions to raise between $5 million and $7 million from the three investment firms. The final amount falls within that reported range.

Fixxly is an early-stage building-materials commerce company headquartered in Bengaluru. Its platform is being designed to enable technology-led ordering and rapid fulfilment of construction and home-improvement supplies, beginning with its Bengaluru launch in September.
