Mumbai, Allana Group has appointed Navin Nathani as Group Director – IT and Group Chief Information Officer. In his new role, Nathani will lead the group’s technology strategy and support its digital-transformation initiatives.
Nathani announced his appointment through a professional-networking post. He said he will work with Allana Group’s leadership team and employees to strengthen the organisation’s technology foundations, support business growth and explore the use of artificial intelligence and digital technologies across the group.
“Technology has always been most rewarding for me when it helps solve real business problems whether that’s improving manufacturing efficiency, strengthening cybersecurity, enabling better decisions or creating a better experience for customers and employees,” Nathani said.
He brings more than 22 years of experience spanning enterprise technology, digital transformation, manufacturing systems, cybersecurity, data, artificial intelligence and business-process improvement.
Before joining Allana Group, Nathani served as Chief Information Officer at Cohizon Life Sciences, where he was responsible for technology strategy and digital transformation. He joined Cohizon in February 2025.
Nathani previously worked at Hindalco Industries as General Manager and Head of IT, Transformation and Value Creation. His responsibilities included digital initiatives, customer relationship management, data strategies and the implementation of generative-AI use cases.
His professional experience also includes leadership and technology roles at Blue Star, General Mills, Deloitte and Wipro. Across these organisations, he has worked on enterprise resource planning, cloud migration, analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, customer-experience systems and omnichannel platforms.
“As I begin this new role, I look forward to working with the leadership team and colleagues at Allana Group to strengthen our technology foundations, support business growth and explore how AI and digital technologies can create meaningful value across the organization,” Nathani added.
Established in 1865, Allana Group manufactures and exports processed food products and agricultural commodities. The group operates integrated manufacturing facilities in India and exports its products to more than 85 countries.
