Ador Welding Appoints Krishnamurthy Suryanarayan as CFO and Head of Strategy

Mumbai, Ador Welding Limited has appointed Krishnamurthy Suryanarayan as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Strategy, effective August 15, 2026. He currently serves as Head – Corporate Strategy at the company.

Suryanarayan will succeed Surya Kant Sethia, whose resignation will become effective at the close of business on August 14. The company’s board approved the leadership transition at its meeting held on July 30.

In his expanded role, Suryanarayan will oversee Ador Welding’s finance function and strategic initiatives. His responsibilities will include financial planning, treasury management, business strategy, governance and supporting the company’s long-term growth priorities.

Suryanarayan joined Ador Welding as Head – Corporate Strategy on June 3, 2024. Since then, he has been involved in developing and implementing the company’s corporate strategy and growth plans.

A chartered accountant by qualification, Suryanarayan brings more than 25 years of experience across finance, treasury, business planning and corporate strategy. Before joining Ador Welding, he held leadership positions at Astec LifeSciences, Parag Milk Foods, CEAT and Godrej Consumer Products.

His professional experience covers financial management in consumer goods, automotive, food and life-sciences businesses. This cross-sector background is expected to support Ador Welding’s financial planning and strategic decision-making as the company expands its domestic and international operations.

Sethia is stepping down after serving the company for around 11 years. The transition period before Suryanarayan assumes office is intended to support the handover of responsibilities and maintain continuity across the finance function.

Ador Welding is an Indian welding-products and industrial-solutions company. Its portfolio includes welding consumables, welding equipment, automation systems, gas-cutting products and related services. The company serves customers across sectors including automotive, infrastructure, energy, railways, shipbuilding and heavy engineering, and also operates in international markets.
