Anthropic, Blackstone and Hellman & Friedman have officially launched Ode with Anthropic, a standalone enterprise artificial intelligence services company designed to help businesses implement AI systems across their core operations.
The company was initially announced in May 2026 and has now begun operating under the Ode name and brand. Ode combines Anthropic’s frontier AI models with an engineering and enterprise-delivery team built around Fractional AI, an applied AI services company acquired in May.
Ode is backed by a consortium of global investors that includes Goldman Sachs, General Atlantic, Leonard Green & Partners, Apollo Global Management, Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC and Sequoia Capital. Anthropic, Blackstone and Hellman & Friedman are the founding partners behind the company.
The company will work with organisations to identify business processes where AI can generate measurable results and then design, build and deploy systems based on Anthropic’s technology. Its teams will collaborate with Anthropic’s Applied AI organisation while working with customers across sectors including financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing and software.
Ode is led by Chris Taylor as Chief Executive Officer and Eddie Siegel as Chief Technology Officer. Taylor and Siegel previously held the same positions at Fractional AI, which they co-founded with Travis May in 2024. Fractional AI’s engineering team and delivery capabilities now form the operational foundation of Ode.
“Companies everywhere see the potential for what AI can do for their businesses; the challenge is making it real,” Taylor said.
He added that Ode would work with company leaders to identify and execute priority AI initiatives by combining customers’ industry knowledge with its applied-AI engineering capabilities.
Ode said it is recruiting engineers, product leaders and business operators as it expands its enterprise implementation capacity. The company has not disclosed its current employee count, hiring target, revenue, valuation or the financial terms of its acquisition of Fractional AI.
Anthropic had first announced the formation of the enterprise AI services firm on May 4. At the time, the company said the new entity would initially focus on helping mid-sized organisations deploy Claude-powered systems in areas such as healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, retail, real estate and infrastructure.
