Anthropic Revenue Run Rate Reportedly Crosses $65 Billion Ahead of IPO

Anthropic’s annualized revenue run rate reportedly exceeded $65 billion at the end of July, reflecting a sharp increase in enterprise demand as the artificial-intelligence company prepares for a possible public listing. The figure represents an annualized estimate based on a recent revenue period rather than revenue already recorded over a full year, and Anthropic has not publicly released audited financial statements confirming the number.

Preliminary documents reviewed by financial reporters indicate that Anthropic generated more than $11.5 billion in second-quarter revenue. That would be more than fourteen times the corresponding figure a year earlier and more than double the $4.73 billion reported for the first quarter. The end-July run rate was approximately seven times the company’s pace at the end of 2025.

The available figures would place Anthropic ahead of OpenAI’s recently reported $40 billion revenue run rate, although direct comparison is limited because the privately held companies may classify usage, cloud-partner revenue and enterprise commitments differently. Anthropic’s growth has been concentrated in enterprise model access, coding tools and API consumption, with large customers increasingly incorporating Claude into software engineering and operational workflows.

Anthropic is working with Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan on an expected initial public offering that could occur in September or October, subject to market conditions and regulatory processes. A listing would provide access to public capital as AI developers commit increasingly large sums to model training, inference capacity, data centres and custom accelerators.

The company has expanded its commercial infrastructure in India alongside the reported global revenue acceleration. Anthropic opened a Bengaluru office in February under India managing director Irina Ghose, its second Asia-Pacific office after Tokyo. The operation is hiring for local technical and commercial roles and supports partnerships with Indian enterprises, technology-services companies and public institutions. Anthropic’s India announcement outlines the office and partnership programme.

Tata Consultancy Services is working with Anthropic to deploy Claude across enterprise transformation programmes, including customer-service and process-automation work at TCS subsidiary Diligenta. Wipro launched an Applied AI Centre of Excellence for Claude models in June to develop enterprise deployments and train technical teams. Wipro’s programme announcement describes the centre’s operating scope.

Indian organizations can access Claude through Anthropic’s platform and Amazon Bedrock. AWS introduced global cross-region inference access for customers operating from its Mumbai and Hyderabad regions in March, allowing workloads to draw on inference capacity across commercial AWS regions during demand spikes. The service includes Claude Opus 4.6, Sonnet 4.6 and Haiku 4.5, with a one-million-token context window. AWS’s India deployment documentation explains that processing may occur outside India when global cross-region inference is used.
