Gurugram-based logistics firm Delhivery has reported a remarkable 114% year-on-year (YoY) surge in consolidated net profit, reaching ₹25 crore for the third quarter of fiscal year 2024-25 (FY25), compared to ₹11.7 crore in the same period last year. This marks the second consecutive profitable quarter for Delhivery since its public listing in 2022, reinforcing its growth trajectory and operational efficiency.
Revenue from operations witnessed an 8% increase, rising to ₹2,378 crore from ₹2,194 crore in the previous year. Despite the revenue jump, the company’s margins declined slightly to 4.3% from 5% in the same quarter last year. Nevertheless, Delhivery continues to focus on optimizing costs, improving logistics efficiency, and expanding its network to maintain profitability and strengthen its market presence.
In a significant leadership development, Delhivery has appointed former Airtel executive Vani Venkatesh as its new Chief Business Officer (CBO), effective February 28, 2025. Venkatesh brings extensive experience in business strategy, operations, and marketing, having held key leadership positions at Airtel, including CEO for Global Business, CEO for Delhi-NCR, Chief Marketing Officer, and CEO for the company’s retail division. Her appointment is expected to contribute to Delhivery’s growth strategy, leveraging her expertise in driving business expansion and operational excellence.
This announcement follows a series of strategic hires and expansions by the logistics giant. Earlier this week, Delhivery appointed Sameer Mehta, Co-Founder and CEO of boAt Lifestyle, and Namita Thapar, an executive at Emcure Pharmaceuticals, as non-executive independent directors to its board. These additions reflect the company’s commitment to strengthening leadership and governance to navigate the evolving logistics landscape.
