
Dharmendra Saxena has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Samsara Group, a part of the Sharaf Group. In his new role, he will lead the company’s overall strategy, operations, and expansion across its integrated logistics and global shipping network. The appointment comes at a time when the company is focusing on strengthening its multimodal infrastructure and scaling its presence across key markets.
Samsara Group has been steadily expanding its footprint, with a network of over 80 office locations across India and a growing international presence. Under Saxena’s leadership, the company aims to accelerate business growth by enhancing its logistics capabilities and building a more robust, technology-driven supply chain ecosystem. His mandate includes driving operational efficiency and unlocking new growth opportunities in both domestic and global markets.
Saxena brings more than two decades of experience in logistics, infrastructure, and supply chain management. Prior to this role, he served as Global Director General at Arise Ports & Logistics, where he was involved in developing and managing large-scale infrastructure projects across multiple regions. His experience in handling complex international operations is expected to play a key role in shaping Samsara’s long-term strategy.
He has also held the position of Country Head and Director at Samsung SDS, where he contributed to expanding integrated logistics solutions and strengthening the company’s presence in India. Earlier in his career, Saxena worked with Arshiya Limited and Gateway Distriparks Limited, gaining extensive experience across warehousing, freight forwarding, and multimodal logistics services.
His appointment signals Samsara Group’s intent to enter its next phase of global expansion with a strong leadership foundation. As the logistics industry undergoes rapid transformation driven by digitalization and evolving trade dynamics, Saxena’s expertise is expected to help the company strengthen its competitive position and build a more integrated and scalable logistics network.
