Hong Kong Firm Suanova Launches Token-Based AI Cloud Platform

Hong Kong-based technology company Suanova has officially launched a new token-based AI cloud service called cube-router.com, marking a major development in the region’s growing artificial intelligence infrastructure sector. The platform is being positioned as Hong Kong’s first “NeoCloud” service built around a Token-as-a-Service (TaaS) model, allowing users to consume AI computing resources in a more flexible and usage-based format.

Suanova, a subsidiary of electronics manufacturer Yeebo International Holdings, said the platform is designed to transform AI computing into a utility-like service similar to electricity or water. Instead of relying on traditional cloud pricing structures, the system uses tokenized consumption to allocate computing resources dynamically based on workload requirements. The company believes this approach can improve accessibility and efficiency for enterprises and developers requiring large-scale AI computing power.

The new service operates on Suanova’s “Harvest No. 4” computing cluster and uses domestically developed GPU systems from Chinese chipmakers MetaX and Biren Technology. Through a partnership with Hong Kong telecom provider HKBN, the platform combines compute aggregation, workload scheduling, network optimization, metering systems, and security infrastructure into a unified AI cloud environment. The company stated that the system can support enterprise AI training, inference workloads, and industrial AI applications.

Suanova has already established a presence in China’s AI infrastructure ecosystem through its “Harvest” series of computing centers located in Hong Kong and Shanghai. These facilities currently support academic institutions and enterprise customers including Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, and AI company SenseTime. The company claims its infrastructure has been used for applications ranging from autonomous driving and industrial simulation to image analysis and weather forecasting.

Industry analysts believe the launch reflects a broader shift toward token-based AI economies emerging in China and other parts of Asia. As demand for AI model training and inference grows rapidly, companies are exploring new ways to commercialize GPU infrastructure and optimize computing distribution. Reports indicate China now processes trillions of AI-related token requests daily, creating strong momentum for tokenized AI infrastructure services. Experts say platforms like cube-router.com could become increasingly important as enterprises seek localized and sovereign AI cloud solutions outside traditional hyperscale cloud providers.
