Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Limited (Chola) has announced the appointment of Jeeva Balakrishnan as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In his new role, Jeeva will be responsible for crafting and implementing HR strategies that support Chola’s goals of sustainable growth and business transformation.
Jeeva joins Chola with an extensive HR background, previously serving as Senior Vice President & Chief Talent Officer at Reliance Retail. During his tenure, he was instrumental in shaping the company’s talent strategy by establishing a talent marketplace, fostering a coaching culture, and championing an inclusive, high-performance workplace. He also led HR operations for Reliance Market’s Cash and Carry Grocery division, contributing significantly to its talent and growth initiatives.
With over 20 years of HR leadership experience, Jeeva brings expertise in organizational restructuring, people transformation, and business alignment from previous roles at Reliance Digital, Raymond Limited, and other prominent organizations.
