Prahalad Thota has taken on the role of Managing Director and Head of Data & Analytics for JPMorganChase Auto in New York City, marking a key milestone in his professional journey.
In this position, he will lead data-driven transformation initiatives, leveraging advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to enhance business performance and customer experience.
He brings extensive experience in building and scaling global data science and analytics teams, with a career spanning leading organizations such as USAA, Meta, Wells Fargo, Charles Schwab, PayPal, and Capital One. His expertise covers product, marketing, and risk analytics, enabling organizations to unlock value through data-led strategies.
Most recently, he served at USAA as Senior Vice President | Chief Analytics, Member, and Innovation Officer | USAA Bank from August 2024 to February 2026, based in San Antonio, Texas, United States.
Prior to that, he was Vice President and Head of Analytics for Reality Labs at Meta from July 2021 to September 2023 in Burlingame, California, United States, where he worked across data management and generative AI initiatives.
In addition to his corporate roles, he serves as an Advisory Board Member for the MS Analytics Graduate Program at the Georgia Institute of Technology since October 2019, and for the MS Business Analytics Graduate Program at Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business since 2015.
At JPMorganChase Auto, he will work closely with cross-functional teams to accelerate innovation, strengthen analytics capabilities, and drive measurable business outcomes.
