Nutanix appoints Amal Madhu as Cloud Economist to drive cloud value in India

Nutanix, a leader in cloud software and hyperconverged infrastructure solutions, has unveiled the appointment of Amal Madhu to the newly established role of Cloud Economist. This strategic decision aims to enhance cloud value for Indian enterprises. In this pivotal role, Madhu will work closely with Nutanix partners, sales teams, and local leadership. His primary objective will be to amplify the value proposition of cloud technologies for organizations, an essential aspect in today’s swiftly evolving digital economy.

In his new role, Madhu said, “The IT landscape is evolving rapidly, with enterprises now focusing more on application modernization, cloud-native solutions, and advanced AI research. Residing in Bangalore with roots in Kerala, Madhu brings extensive experience to Nutanix, boasting over 7 years of involvement in business value initiatives for enterprise deals. His expertise encompasses both innovative and transformative narratives anchored in core values. With approximately eight years in sales strategy groups and a postgraduate engineering degree, Madhu embarked on his professional journey as a value engineer in an engineering services company, addressing clients’ fundamental technical challenges. Later, he transitioned to VMware, assuming the role of a sales strategy leader, where he spearheaded the enterprise account business value strategy.

During his tenure at VMware, Madhu played a pivotal role in crafting compelling business value narratives for various IT modernization endeavors and contributed to customer and sales team empowerment initiatives. His experience in serving clients across diverse nations endows him with a global perspective that enriches his endeavors at Nutanix.
