The Board of Directors of Pidilite Industries has given the green light to Sudhanshu Vats as the Managing Director designate and Kavinder Singh as the Executive Director and Joint Managing Director designate.
They are slated to assume their roles as managing director and joint managing director, effective April 2025, following the conclusion of the current managing director Bharat Puri’s term. M. B. Parekh, executive chairman of Pidilite Industries, expressed enthusiasm about the appointments, stating, “The appointments of Sudhanshu and Kavinder will reflect the next phase of the Pidilite leadership journey. I look forward to working with the two of them in building the Pidilite of the future.”
Sudhanshu Vats currently serves as the deputy managing director of Pidilite Industries. Previously, he held the position of CEO and managing director at EPL (formerly known as Essel Propack) and led Viacom 18 Media Private as their group CEO & managing director for eight years. He commenced his career as a management trainee at Hindustan Lever in 1991, accumulating approximately twenty years of experience in various sales, marketing, and general management leadership roles.
Kavinder Singh presently holds the position of managing director and CEO of Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India (MHRIL). During his tenure, MHRIL witnessed remarkable growth, achieving a billion-dollar market capitalization from approximately USD 200 million. His extensive experience in the consumer goods sector includes roles at Asian Paints, ITC Ltd, and Pidilite Industries.
