Pooja Menon has been appointed Vice President at Blackstone, joining the Investment Treasury team within Blackstone Credit & Insurance. She brings experience across investment operations, treasury, financial planning and analysis, fixed income, trading and financial services.
Before joining Blackstone, Menon was a Senior Associate at Ares Management, where she focused on financial planning and analysis for the European Direct Lending business. Her experience at Ares adds to her background in investment-related financial planning and analysis.
Earlier, Menon held multiple roles at Goldman Sachs across Fixed Income Sales & Trading and Inventory Management. These roles gave her experience across fixed-income markets, trading activities and investment inventory management.
Her earlier career also includes experience at JPMorganChase, where she served as Team Lead, followed by a role as Associate II at State Street. She began her career as a Financial Analyst at Deutsche Bank.
Menon’s career has therefore spanned investment operations, treasury, financial planning and analysis, fixed income, trading and broader financial services. Her move to Blackstone places this experience within the Investment Treasury function of Blackstone Credit & Insurance.
Blackstone Credit & Insurance is part of Blackstone’s broader credit and insurance platform, which provides investment solutions across private and public credit, insurance and related strategies.
In her new role, Menon will be part of the Investment Treasury team, bringing her experience in financial analysis, investment operations and fixed-income activities to Blackstone’s credit and insurance business.
