PropertyGuru Group Appoints Krishna Pandey as Chief Information Security Officer

PropertyGuru Group has appointed Krishna Pandey as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), strengthening the company’s leadership team as it continues expanding its digital infrastructure and technology operations across Southeast Asia. The appointment highlights the growing importance of cybersecurity and trust-focused digital ecosystems within the rapidly evolving proptech industry.

With nearly two decades of experience in enterprise security strategy, governance, and product security, Pandey brings extensive expertise in building secure and resilient technology environments for global organizations. In his new role, he will focus on enhancing PropertyGuru Group’s trust-first security frameworks while supporting the company’s expanding technology hubs and digital platform operations across the region.

The company stated that Pandey will play a key role in ensuring secure and transparent experiences for property seekers, agents, and business partners using PropertyGuru’s platforms. As digital real estate marketplaces continue scaling across Asia, companies are increasingly prioritizing cybersecurity, platform integrity, data privacy, and operational resilience to protect user trust and maintain business continuity.

Before joining PropertyGuru Group, Pandey held leadership positions at several major global technology organizations, including Xerox, Salesforce, Citrix, Cloudera, and the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC). Throughout his career, he has worked extensively on enterprise security governance, infrastructure protection, product security frameworks, and technology risk management across large-scale digital ecosystems.

Industry observers note that cybersecurity leadership has become increasingly strategic for technology-driven companies operating in sectors involving large amounts of customer data and online transactions. Proptech platforms are investing heavily in cloud security, threat intelligence, compliance frameworks, and secure digital architecture as the industry embraces AI, automation, and data-driven operations at scale.

PropertyGuru Group has been expanding its focus on digital innovation, platform modernization, and regional growth initiatives across Southeast Asia’s real estate market. The addition of an experienced cybersecurity executive aligns with broader industry trends where organizations are strengthening enterprise security capabilities to support long-term digital transformation and customer trust objectives.

With Krishna Pandey joining the leadership team as CISO, PropertyGuru Group is expected to further enhance its cybersecurity posture and operational resilience while continuing to scale its digital real estate ecosystem across the region. His expertise in enterprise security and governance is likely to support the company’s efforts to maintain a secure, transparent, and trusted platform experience for millions of users.
