QualiZeal has appointed Sunil Upadrasta as Vice President and India Head, GCC, strengthening its leadership in the Global Capability Centre (GCC) segment. He brings more than 23 years of experience across sales, business development, client engagement, delivery, practice leadership, digital transformation and profit-and-loss management.
In his new role, Upadrasta will lead QualiZeal’s GCC business, focusing on acquiring new clients, expanding market presence and strengthening engagement with C-suite executives.
The appointment comes as GCCs increasingly take on strategic responsibilities beyond execution, including product and platform ownership, quality engineering, automation and artificial intelligence. QualiZeal said the role will provide dedicated leadership for its work with GCCs and enterprise customers.
Upadrasta has experience across retail, financial services, healthcare, transportation and technology. His previous leadership roles include positions at Atos Syntel, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Reliance Retail. This experience is expected to support the company’s efforts to expand its engagement with global enterprises and GCCs.
QualiZeal Co-Founder, Executive Director and CEO Kalyan Konda said GCCs have remained a core focus for the company as enterprises increasingly seek partners with specialised capabilities in quality engineering and AI engineering. He added that Upadrasta’s experience with global enterprises would strengthen the company’s ability to support GCCs as they expand their responsibilities.
Commenting on his appointment, Upadrasta said GCCs are increasingly seeking ownership of products, platforms, quality and AI rather than focusing only on execution. He said his priority would be to work with CXOs and enterprise leaders to translate strategic priorities into practical solutions and measurable outcomes.
Founded in 2021, QualiZeal provides AI-native quality engineering and AI assurance services to enterprise customers. The company said it has a workforce of more than 1,100 employees and serves over 70 global enterprise clients, including Fortune 500 companies and GCCs.
Its product ecosystem includes QMentisAI for agentic quality engineering, ValidAIte for AI assurance and NexaAI for AI advisory and development. The company is also pursuing its Vision 2028 ambition to become the fastest Indian IT services company to reach $100 million in annual revenue.
Upadrasta’s appointment adds dedicated leadership to QualiZeal’s GCC strategy as the company seeks to expand its presence in quality engineering, AI assurance and enterprise transformation.
