India — Sarvam has launched the Sarvam MCP (Model Context Protocol) Server, a new developer platform designed to simplify how AI coding agents discover, access, and build applications using Sarvam’s AI models and services.
The MCP Server provides developers with a standardized interface to integrate Sarvam’s AI capabilities through a single configuration. Once connected, compatible coding agents can automatically access the appropriate AI models and developer tools, eliminating additional setup and enabling faster application development and deployment.
The launch is aimed at streamlining AI-powered software development by allowing coding assistants and AI agents to interact with Sarvam’s platform using the open Model Context Protocol (MCP), an emerging standard for connecting AI models with external tools and services.
According to the company, the platform enables developers to build AI applications more efficiently by reducing integration complexity and providing immediate access to Sarvam’s models and development capabilities within supported coding environments.
The announcement builds on Sarvam’s continued expansion of its AI developer ecosystem following its USD 234 million Series B funding round, which valued the company at USD 1.5 billion. The company has been expanding its portfolio of large language models, enterprise AI services, and developer tools as part of its broader focus on building AI infrastructure for India.
The launch comes as demand for AI-native developer platforms continues to grow, with enterprises and software developers increasingly adopting AI coding assistants, autonomous agents, and standardized protocols to accelerate software development and improve developer productivity.
Sarvam is an Indian artificial intelligence company developing large language models, enterprise AI platforms, and developer tools.
