Hero MotoCorp has appointed Srihari (Sri) Mulgund as Chief Strategy Officer, effective August 17, 2026. Following the appointment, Mulgund will join the company’s Leadership Team and be designated as part of Senior Management under the applicable listing regulations.
Mulgund brings more than 24 years of experience across engineering, product development and strategy in the global automotive sector, with expertise spanning automotive strategy, electric-vehicle value chains, powertrain engineering and mobility.
Before joining Hero MotoCorp, he served as a Partner at EY-Parthenon, where he worked on strategic engagements involving electric vehicles, batteries, internal combustion engines, supply chains and emerging mobility technologies.
Earlier, Mulgund held senior leadership positions at Ricardo Strategic Consulting, including President – Asia, President – Ricardo India and Vice President. His career also includes experience as a Board Director at New Day Counseling in Troy, Michigan, Powertrain Consultant at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, and Program Manager and Product Development Engineer at Aisin Technical Center of America.
His professional experience across automotive engineering, consulting, electrification and strategic planning brings a broad global perspective to his new position.
At Hero MotoCorp, Mulgund will contribute to the company’s strategic priorities and future growth initiatives, drawing on his experience across automotive technology, electric mobility, powertrains and global business strategy.
