Urban Company Partners with Noon to Expand Home Services in the UAE and Saudi Arabia Ahead of IPO

Urban Company has teamed up with Dubai-based digital platform Noon to extend its home services offerings to the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The partnership will offer a range of services, including cleaning plans (both hourly and monthly), deep cleaning, laundry, AC maintenance, plumbing, electrical repairs, at-home salon and massage services, and more.

In Saudi Arabia, services will focus on home maintenance, cleaning plans, deep home cleaning, as well as at-home massage and nail care specifically for women. These services will be integrated into the Noon app, allowing users to seamlessly book and access the support features.

Noon, founded in 2016, is a leading digital company providing e-commerce, food delivery, and fintech services across the Middle East, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

The collaboration comes as Urban Company prepares for its public offering. The company filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) in April for an IPO valued at INR 1,900 crore, with a fresh issue of shares worth INR 429 crore and an offer-for-sale of INR 1,471 crore.

Urban Company, a tech-driven consumer services startup founded in 2014, operates across 59 cities globally, including India, Singapore, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. The company primarily connects customers with trained and verified service professionals through an app-based platform. Its services include cleaning, beauty, home repair, and maintenance.

Earlier this year, Urban Company reported a significant financial boost, with a consolidated net profit of INR 242.6 crore for the nine months ending December 31, 2024, driven by a deferred tax gain. Revenue surged 41% to INR 846 crore from INR 600.9 crore in the previous year.

Additionally, Urban Company has been restructuring its operations in Saudi Arabia, transitioning to a joint venture and moving away from its step-down subsidiary, Urban Company Arabia for Information Technology, which saw its losses increase significantly.

As part of its evolving business model, Urban Company has expanded beyond its original commission-based structure. It now also generates revenue by selling products to service professionals and directly to consumers under its Native brand. Earlier in 2025, the company also introduced “Insta Help,” a quick-commerce service offering 15-minute bookings for household tasks in select markets.
