
Vinay Pawar has been appointed as Group Chief Technology Officer at Greaves Cotton Limited, marking a strategic move to strengthen the company’s technology leadership. His appointment reflects Greaves Cotton’s focus on driving innovation, enhancing engineering capabilities, and accelerating digital transformation across its diverse business portfolio.
In his new role, Pawar will lead the company’s overall technology strategy, with a focus on advancing product innovation and building future-ready engineering systems. He is expected to play a key role in integrating digital technologies into core operations, improving efficiency, and enabling the company to stay competitive in an evolving industrial and mobility landscape.
Prior to joining Greaves Cotton, Pawar was associated with Minda Instruments Limited, where he served as Senior Vice President and Business Head for the Clusters and Cockpit Division. In this position, he managed a business exceeding ₹500 crore and led cross-functional teams across technology, operations, and supply chain, contributing to business growth and operational excellence.
He has also held leadership roles at Spark Minda Group, KPIT, and Continental. Across these organizations, he gained extensive experience in automotive engineering, research and development, and executing large-scale transformation initiatives.
With a strong background in technology and engineering leadership, Pawar brings valuable expertise to Greaves Cotton at a time when the industry is undergoing rapid change. His appointment is expected to support the company’s long-term vision of leveraging innovation and digital capabilities to drive growth and strengthen its position in the market.
