
Vistaar Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. has appointed Satish Vaidya as Chief Risk Officer (CRO), where he will lead the company’s risk management function and oversee its approach to risk governance, credit risk, and financial risk management.
In his new role, Vaidya will focus on strengthening the company’s risk framework and supporting sound credit and financial risk practices across the organisation.
Vaidya brings extensive experience across risk management, credit, portfolio management, risk assessment, and policy development within the financial-services sector. His career has covered multiple aspects of credit and risk functions, including portfolio oversight and the development of risk policies.
Before joining Vistaar Financial Services, Vaidya served as Deputy General Manager & Head – Risk at Muthoot Finance and Lead – Product Risk at Aditya Birla Capital.
Earlier, he held several positions at Mahindra Finance, including Senior Manager – Risk, Manager – Risk, Regional Credit Manager, and Manager – Credit. These roles gave him experience across regional credit management and broader risk functions.
Vaidya’s earlier career also includes serving as Policy Manager at HDB Financial Services, Branch Credit Manager at Reliance Capital, Manager – Credit at Axis Bank, Credit Manager at ICICI Bank, and Field Executive at BASIX.
His experience across credit and risk functions in different financial-services organisations is expected to support Vistaar Financial Services in strengthening its risk governance, credit framework, and risk-management practices.
As Chief Risk Officer, Vaidya will take on a key role in managing the company’s risk framework while supporting disciplined credit practices and the organisation’s long-term financial stability.
