In a significant move to bridge telecom capabilities with enterprise systems, Indian IT majors Wipro and Tech Mahindra have entered a strategic partnership with Aduna Global, a key player in network API aggregation. The collaboration aims to fast-track the deployment and adoption of network APIs across industries including banking, logistics, and public services.
The initiative is designed to support Communication Service Providers (CSPs) in accelerating onboarding processes while enabling real-time, telecom-powered use cases in enterprise environments worldwide.
“This is a major step forward in operationalising network APIs at scale,” said Anthony Bartolo, CEO of Aduna, who underscored the value of combining the telecom and enterprise integration strengths of both Indian IT firms.
Through the partnership, the companies will work to integrate APIs—such as SIM swap, number verification, and device location—into identity platforms and cloud-native digital systems, enhancing automation and security within enterprise transformation projects.
Manish Mangal of Tech Mahindra highlighted the industry’s evolution: “The telecom industry has a significant opportunity to unlock the value of its networks… by subjecting them to APIs.”
Echoing this sentiment, Srikumar Rao from Wipro noted that the collaboration enables the company to “extend our AI, cloud, and security offerings with real-time telecom intelligence.”
Leveraging their experience as global system integrators, Wipro and Tech Mahindra will also assist telcos in embedding Aduna’s technology through comprehensive consulting and onboarding frameworks—ultimately reducing complexity and fostering innovation at the enterprise level.
