Drone manufacturer ideaForge Technology has released its monitoring-agency report for the quarter ended 30 September 2026, with CRISIL Ratings finding no variation or deviation from the stated use of proceeds from the company’s qualified institutional placement.
The QIP was conducted between 7 and 10 July 2026 and raised ₹500 crore. The disclosed uses included repayment of borrowings, working-capital requirements, product development, general corporate purposes and issue expenses.
The company allocated ₹120 crore to the repayment of outstanding borrowings and reported that the full amount had been deployed for that purpose. Approximately ₹276.48 crore of QIP proceeds remained unutilised at the end of September, reflecting the staged deployment of funds rather than an identified divergence from the offer document.
Working capital and product development are important expenditure categories for ideaForge because drone manufacturing combines hardware inventory, research, certification, software, sensor integration and customer-specific delivery requirements. Defence and government procurement cycles can also create gaps between production expenditure, delivery and collection.
A monitoring-agency report does not evaluate whether individual investments will generate the intended commercial return. Its role is to assess whether proceeds are being used consistently with the purposes disclosed to investors. The absence of a deviation therefore provides a governance and disclosure update while leaving operating performance to be assessed through subsequent results and order execution.
The report comes as India’s drone industry expands across defence, surveillance, mapping, infrastructure inspection and public-safety applications. Domestic manufacturers are simultaneously developing aircraft platforms, autonomy software, payload integration and maintenance capabilities. Access to balance-sheet capital can influence product-development timelines and the ability to execute larger orders.
ideaForge’s next disclosures will show how quickly the unutilised balance is deployed across working capital and development programmes. Investors will also track the relationship between capital deployment, new orders, receivables and manufacturing throughput.
The report was filed with the exchanges on 6 November and covers the position as of the end of the September quarter. It does not indicate any diversion of funds or change to the allocation purposes disclosed during the QIP
