Datadog Elevates Namit D’Cruz to Lead Enterprise Growth Across India and SAARC

Datadog has promoted Namit D’Cruz to Regional Vice President for Enterprise in India and SAARC, highlighting the company’s sharpened focus on South Asia as enterprises accelerate adoption of observability, security, and AI-driven operations. Based in Bengaluru, D’Cruz will now be responsible for shaping Datadog’s enterprise strategy across the region, deepening customer engagement and scaling teams spanning sales, customer support, alliances, marketing, and channel partnerships.

The appointment comes at a time when organizations across India and neighboring markets are rapidly moving from pilot projects to large-scale deployment of AI and cloud-native systems. As enterprises increase reliance on complex, distributed architectures, the need for unified visibility, performance monitoring, and governance has become mission-critical. Datadog’s platform, which integrates observability, security, and analytics across infrastructure, applications, and AI workloads, is seeing rising traction among large enterprises navigating this shift.

Commenting on the evolving enterprise landscape, D’Cruz said, “Enterprises are increasingly moving beyond experimentation to deploy AI for customer experience, scale, automation, and operational efficiency. As this shift accelerates, visibility, governance, and reliability across AI-driven systems become critical to building digital resilience.” He added, “Datadog helps organizations gain end-to-end observability across the AI stack, from infrastructure and GPUs to models and agents, while addressing cost control, risk detection, and responsible AI adoption. I’m excited to lead our regional enterprise team and work closely with customers as they navigate this next phase of transformation.”

D’Cruz brings deep experience in building and scaling enterprise technology businesses in India, with a strong understanding of the region’s cloud adoption patterns and regulatory environment. In his expanded role, he will focus on strengthening Datadog’s presence among large enterprises, fostering strategic partnerships, and ensuring customers can effectively operationalize AI and cloud technologies at scale.

Datadog’s leadership sees India as a cornerstone of its Asia-Pacific growth strategy. Rob Thorne, VP APJ at Datadog, emphasized the market’s importance, stating, “India has become a critical growth market for Datadog, driven by strong enterprise adoption of cloud, security, and AI-led operations.” He added, “Namit’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment for our India and SAARC business – his leadership, enterprise experience, and understanding of the regional market will be key as we scale our teams, deepen customer relationships, and drive the next phase of growth.”

With this leadership move, Datadog is signaling its intent to invest more deeply in the region as enterprises seek resilient, AI-ready digital foundations.
