Ankit Shah has been appointed Director of IT at Marsh, where he will lead strategic technology initiatives, spearhead AI-led innovation, and drive enterprise-wide digital transformation to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. His elevation reflects Marsh’s confidence in his ability to modernize technology infrastructure and deliver impactful business outcomes.
Ankit has been with Marsh for nearly three years, previously serving as Associate Director. During his tenure, he successfully delivered transformative automation and modernization programs, generating business benefits worth $10 million through process automation, technology modernization, and in-house innovation initiatives.
Prior to joining Marsh, Ankit built extensive experience across the BFSI and insurance technology domains through leadership roles at BNP Paribas CIB India Solutions, LTI – Larsen & Toubro Infotech, and Mastek. Over a 16-year career, he has developed deep expertise in project management, solution architecture, and technology transformation, consistently driving innovation, operational excellence, and agile delivery.
At BNP Paribas India Solutions, Ankit served as Senior Project Manager from July 2015 to May 2023, overseeing end-to-end project management, requirement gathering, design, development, and integration testing. At L&T Infotech, he was Project Leader from September 2012 to July 2015, leading a remote account-opening project for ABSA Bank that enabled sales agents to offer transactional products remotely via Samsung Galaxy tablets.
