Vishal Mishra has joined KBS Local Area Bank in Hyderabad as its Chief Technology Officer in August 2026. He is a banking technology professional with years of experience in banks and finance companies. Before this, he worked as AVP Technology & Operations at UOB, Chief Technology Officer at Swastik Finance Ltd, AVP Information Technology at SATYA MicroCapital Limited, and Senior IT Manager at Asirvad Microfinance Limited. At KBS, he will lead all the technology of the bank. This includes keeping customer money and data safe, making mobile banking, internet banking and UPI smooth and easy, making sure the bank follows RBI, NPCI and UIDAI rules, upgrading the core banking system, and building a strong technology team. KBS Local Area Bank is working towards becoming a Small Finance Bank, and with his experience in cybersecurity, digital banking and compliance, Vishal Mishra will help the bank move ahead with safe and modern technology.
