Animesh Mittal has assumed the role of Director at S&P Global Market Intelligence, effective February 2026. Based in Gurugram, Haryana, he will lead strategic technology initiatives, applying his extensive experience in agile project management and program leadership to drive engineering excellence within the global financial information enterprise. His elevation reinforces the organization’s technology leadership presence in the region and underscores its continued focus on innovation in financial services.
In his new position, Animesh is responsible for steering high-impact engineering programs, strengthening execution frameworks, and enhancing delivery capabilities across complex platforms. His mandate includes integrating agile methodologies with large-scale program governance to ensure operational efficiency and scalable growth.
Prior to joining S&P Global Market Intelligence, Animesh served as AVP – Software Engineering at Moody’s Ratings from February 2024 to December 2025. In this capacity, he led people management initiatives and oversaw release cycles for mission-critical financial systems. Operating in a hybrid work model from Gurugram, he played a key role in aligning engineering delivery with enterprise objectives while strengthening release governance and cross-functional collaboration.
Earlier, he worked as Technology Manager at Capgemini from August 2021 to February 2024. During his tenure, he managed release management operations and leveraged technologies such as TIBCO BusinessWorks, building strong competencies across enterprise integration and systems modernization initiatives.
Before Capgemini, Animesh spent over four years at Accenture in Gurugram. He served as Engineering Specialist from December 2020 to August 2021, following his earlier role as Senior Analyst from May 2017 to November 2020. In these positions, he contributed to large-scale engineering programs, release management processes, and enterprise technology implementations, further deepening his expertise in TIBCO-based integrations and systems engineering.
Animesh began his professional journey at Tata Consultancy Services, where he spent nearly five years developing strong technical foundations in TIBCO technologies and systems engineering. This early experience laid the groundwork for his evolution into senior program and engineering leadership roles.
Bringing together more than a decade of hands-on technical experience and senior-level program management expertise, Animesh now leads the engineering mandate at S&P Global Market Intelligence. His career reflects a consistent trajectory across leading global consulting and financial services organizations, positioning him to drive technology transformation and sustained engineering excellence within the company.
