Kuldeep Sehrawat has joined Wipro India as Director and Head of Marketing, bringing more than 17 years of experience across technology and fast-moving consumer goods marketing. The appointment marks a new chapter in his career, following marketing leadership responsibilities at IBM spanning growth segments, partner engagement and ecosystem marketing.
His professional background covers strategic and alliance marketing, marketing programmes, brand governance, go-to-market strategies and events. His experience includes developing collaborative campaigns and connecting marketing initiatives with business priorities across different technology domains.
Before joining Wipro India, Kuldeep served as Marketing Leader for IBM’s Growth Segment in India and South Asia. The role encompassed marketing strategy and execution, with a focus on partner engagement, brand presence and growth opportunities. His work at IBM included supporting an ecosystem approach to marketing through joint initiatives and strategic partnerships.
His earlier responsibilities also included event marketing. An Indian Institute of Management Shillong newsletter identified him as Event Marketing Lead at IBM India and South Asia during a session on the evolution of marketing. This adds executive engagement and industry dialogue to his broader experience in technology marketing.
Kuldeep was recognised in the Partner Marketing Power List 2025 by CXO-TV News and Techplus Media. The recognition highlighted his contribution to IBM’s partner marketing strategy and the development of narratives around its alliance ecosystem, including hybrid cloud and artificial intelligence. In acknowledging the recognition, he emphasised collaboration and the importance of business partners.
He has also shared perspectives on how emerging technology is changing the marketing profession. In May 2024, he published a LinkedIn article titled “Embracing Change: The Evolution of Tech Marketing with Generative AI,” reflecting his interest in the changing relationship between technology and marketing practice.
His move to Wipro India brings together experience in growth marketing, brand management, partnerships and executive engagement within a country marketing leadership role. The appointment builds on a career spanning consumer and enterprise technology environments, with a consistent focus on connecting market engagement, partner collaboration and business objectives.
