Sachin Mhashilkar has been appointed Senior Director at ET Edge, the thought leadership platform of Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd., publisher of The Times of India. In this role, he will lead strategic initiatives and contribute to expanding the platform’s influence across technology and business leadership ecosystems.
Mhashilkar brings close to two decades of experience across B2B technology media organisations, with strong expertise in media strategy, business growth and industry engagement. At ET Edge, he is expected to focus on strengthening media strategy, expanding industry engagement and driving business growth initiatives to enhance the platform’s leadership in the technology and business thought-leadership space.
His appointment follows the acquisition of flagship brands including CIO&Leader, ITNext and CISO Forum from 9.9 Group, a move aimed at strengthening ET Edge’s presence within the enterprise technology and leadership community.
Prior to joining ET Edge, Mhashilkar served at 9.9 Group as Chief Operating Officer and Associate Publisher – B2B Tech, and Vice President – Focus, where he played a key role in driving business development and strengthening the organisation’s presence in the B2B technology media ecosystem.
Earlier in his career, he held the role of Senior General Manager – Marketing at Network18 Media & Investments Limited and also worked with Netmagic Solutions, an NTT Communications company, gaining experience across technology media, digital infrastructure, marketing and business strategy.
Mhashilkar completed his education at Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, IIT Bombay, adding a strong academic foundation to his leadership journey in the technology media sector. With deep expertise in media strategy and industry engagement, he is expected to play a key role in advancing ET Edge’s thought-leadership initiatives and expanding its ecosystem partnerships.
