Workspace interiors startup OfficeBanao has raised ₹34.8 crore (approximately $3.7 million) in a fresh funding round led by existing investor Lightspeed, with participation from investment firms Mangum II and Medra Family. The investment was completed through the issuance of 45,472 pre-Series A2 non-cumulative compulsorily convertible preference shares at a price of ₹7,654 per share.
The funding was structured across two tranches. Lightspeed India Partners III and LS Opportunities Access Fund together invested around ₹21.24 crore, while Mangum II contributed approximately ₹9.04 crore. Medra Family participated in the second tranche with an investment of about ₹4.52 crore.
Founded in 2022 by Tushar Mittal, Akshya Kumar, and Divyanshu Sharma, OfficeBanao provides a technology-driven platform for designing, building, and managing commercial workspaces. The startup focuses on delivering end-to-end interior solutions for office and retail spaces, including planning, design, procurement of materials, and project execution.
The company plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its technology platform, scale operations, and expand its presence in India’s commercial interiors market. OfficeBanao is also working on building a digital infrastructure that integrates different aspects of workspace development such as design decisions, contractor assignments, material sourcing, and quality checks into a unified platform.
OfficeBanao has reported significant growth in recent years. Its revenue increased from ₹22 crore in FY23 to ₹138 crore in FY25, and the company is targeting around ₹225 crore in revenue for the financial year 2025–26.
As companies increasingly invest in modern office environments and flexible workspace designs, startups like OfficeBanao are aiming to digitize and streamline the traditionally fragmented commercial interiors industry through technology-enabled project management and integrated service platforms.
